1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to BiteBoxx operated by BiteBoxx . BiteBoxx is an online technology platform connecting consumers with local restaurants and independent delivery partners for food ordering, logistics, and delivery fulfillment.

By downloading, installing, browsing, or utilizing our mobile application or website (https://biteboxx.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the platform immediately.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • Customer Accounts: Users must be at least 13 years of age to register and place orders on BiteBoxx.
  • Restaurant & Delivery Partners: Merchants and delivery personnel must be at least 18 years of age and legally qualified to enter into commercial contracts.
  • Accuracy of Details: You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information (including full name, active mobile number, valid email address, and exact delivery address).
  • Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, login OTPs, and access tokens. Any activity conducted through your registered account is your responsibility.

3. Scope of Service & Platform Role

  • Marketplace Facilitator: BiteBoxx acts strictly as an online marketplace aggregator connecting users with partner restaurants and delivery service providers.
  • Food Quality & Merchant Responsibility: Food preparation, ingredients, cooking standards, hygiene compliance, packaging, pricing, and availability are solely managed by the respective independent restaurant partners.
  • Contract of Sale: When an order is confirmed, the contract for sale and supply of food items is established directly between the customer and the restaurant partner.

4. Pricing, Payments & Invoicing

  • Currency: All prices on the platform are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable goods and services taxes (GST) unless indicated otherwise.
  • Payment Processing: BiteBoxx integrates certified, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways (e.g., Paytm PG, UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and Digital Wallets) along with Cash on Delivery (where available).
  • Payment Authorization: By placing an order, you authorize the payment gateway to debit your account for the full order amount, which includes food charges, applicable taxes, packaging charges, and delivery fees.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All trademarks, brand names, visual interfaces, graphics, logos, source code, design elements, mobile application software, and digital assets associated with BiteBoxx are the exclusive intellectual property of BiteBoxx Technologies. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, reverse engineering, or extraction of source code is strictly prohibited.

6. User Conduct & Prohibited Uses

Users agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any fraudulent, unlawful, or deceptive activity.
  • Provide fake, fictitious, unreachable, or misleading delivery addresses.
  • Interfere with server integrity, app security, or network infrastructure.
  • Abuse promotional coupon codes, discounts, or refund processes.
  • Post abusive, unlawful, defamatory, or objectionable content.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law:

  • BiteBoxx Technologies and its directors, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from restaurant food quality, delays caused by traffic/weather/force majeure, or unauthorized access to your device.
  • The maximum liability of BiteBoxx for any validated claim arising out of a transaction shall be strictly capped at the total amount paid by the customer for that specific order.

8. Third-Party Services

The platform integrates third-party services for mapping (Google Maps SDK), payment gateway processing (Paytm PG), push notifications (Google Firebase FCM), and application analytics. These third-party providers operate under their own independent terms and privacy policies.

9. Modifications to Terms

BiteBoxx reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date". Continued use of the platform following the posting of modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India.
